It is a user-directed agent, rather than a crawler used to train AI models.

With a signing key configured, requests use Web Bot Auth with Ed25519 HTTP Message Signatures.
The public key directory is served at /.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory on this gateway.
A signature identifies the agent; website owners retain control over whether they allow its requests.
